I’m launching my ‘Peanut Butter and Jelly Challenge’ fundraising video to mark today, which is twenty years ago to the day when I first became ill at 18 years old. You can watch the video on YouTube here:
This is me trying a ‘peanut butter and jelly’ sandwich for the first time and inviting you to join in with my ‘Peanut Butter and Jelly Challenge’. I’m attempting to get to America for urgent and essential neurosurgery so I’m tasting this classic American food. Find out more about the surgery I need, which is unavailable to me in the U.K., on my fundraising page: GoFundMe.com/savejenny or through my mini documentary (31mins) on YouTube where I turn the camera on myself to show a day in my life: https://youtu.be/j09KuknjrXY
To join in with my ‘Peanut Butter and Jelly Challenge’, video yourself trying a Peanut Butter and “Jelly” sandwich, your reaction, and say why you’re doing it: to try to raise money for my neurosurgery in New York. Don’t forget to mention my fundraising page in your video! (gofundme.com/savejenny)
Today, 1st December, marks the day 20 years ago when I first became ill at 18 years old. I’ve now been very severely ill for 20 years. It’s a tough day and a hard thing for the brain to process, with all the loss that it involves. This is why I’ve launched this video today: to bring a bit of hope, distraction and cheer on an otherwise dark day.
