Jenny started treatment fully on Wednesday 24th. However the length of treatment each day for her , ( 6.5 hours of infusions ) the scale of the treatment and the travel each day from her temporary accomodation has led to a considerable worsening in her health. After being ill and bed bound for so long it was something that was feared. The decision was made last night afer consultation with her doctor to halt the infusions and to attempt to move to a modified oral treatment plan. Obviously, Jenny and her family, have been very upset in taking this decision. They would like to thank again everyone for all their support and kindness. We will update you as to the progress of the modified treatment plan and Jenny will continue to stay near the hospital for the forseeable future.
